Characteristics: The wine is very dark ruby in color, leaving long-lasting curtains on the walls of the glass. The intense and persistent bouquet is complex. Notes on leather, red pepper, earth, tar, smoke, black pepper, dry spices, but also on raspberries and strawberries. In the mouth, the wine is dry, ripe, flexible tannins and higher, ripe acids. Nicely coordinated, mature, on the elegant side. It is a wine which after eight years offers what lovers of matured red wines are looking for.
Food pairings: Good for red meat, pasta, risotto. Also, Cuvée Morel goes well with aged and ripe cheeses. To serve at 14 - 16° C.
