Deep ruby colour with tinges of garnet. Intense and youthful on the nose, showing just a bit of age. Fully ripe red fruits like cherries, sour cherries, blackberry and blueberry are dominant and accompanied with gentle undergrowth notes. Dry on the palate, medium to full bodied. Plenty of tannins which are still young and could be slightly astringent at this stage but are providing a good ageing potential. Acidities are on the higher side, giving the wine a necessary verticality. Dry, quite rich on the palate, multi-faced, fruit intensity and freshness are liaising nicely.
Suitable for all occasions, it can be offered with appetizers and with most main dishes.
