Volume: 750 ml.
Grape variety: Rebula (Ribolla Gialla).
Maceration 14 days in contact with skins and seeds in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Spontaneous fermentation. Natural maturing in oak barrique for 3 years and 6 months in bottles.
This Merlot has a fresh and young bright ruby color. The color is light and lively, it still has to grow up in a bottle for some time.
The glass is immediately filled with aromas of dark berries and fruits. You can taste blackberries, black currants, cherries and prunes. A fruity and berry aroma develops as soft notes of wild herbs and spices begin to emerge.
In the mouth, the wine is dry and medium-bodied, at the same time, quite light and warm. Acids and tannins are perfectly balanced. Light velvety and minerality appear shortly before the very end. The aftertaste is not long, but rather rounded.
This wine is well drunk with stews, pasta, ravioli.
Also, Camembert with raspberry jam will fit well.
Serving temperature: 16 - 18°C.
