Muse Gold has the bottle maturing capability of 10 years or more. Over the years of ageing, the rich structure and harmony of aromas gain in complexity, elegance and bouquet. The wine stays fresh, fullness of taste and vitality thanks to the micro-terroir and the natural production method.
The wine is produced from Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Sauvignon Vert. The three varieties are grown in terraced, time-proven locations with adequate climate and soil composition.
This blend only matures in the best vintages.
Maceration 20 hours on the skins at 12° C. Pressing with a pneumatic press and subsequent transfer of each variety separately to new barrique and acacia barrels. Fermentation: 20 days in new oak barrels (barrique) and new acacia barrels, each variety is fermented in separate barrels. Wine fermented with the grapes own yeast. Lees stirring is performed daily. Maturing: The wine is left to mature naturally in new oak barrels (barrique) and new acacia barrels for a year and a half. Lees stirring is performed is performed weekly. In this way, the wine acquires and retains the natural aromas. After tasting, the wines are blended to produce Muse Gold.
Crystal, golden yellow colour, noble bouquet. Complex and intense taste of ripe citrus, acacia and dried apricots gradually develops into dried fruits, hazelnuts and toffees.
A well-structured and persistent wine with mature acidity.
We recommend to open the bottle one hour before tasting the wine. The aroma is fully developed through the process of decanting.
