Maceration takes place for 20 days in contact with the skins in a stainless steel container. Gentle compression with a pneumatic press. Maturation 18 months in oak barrels. Unfiltered.
The wine is medium purple. The bouquet is moderately accentuated, smells of ripe fruit, black cherries, vanilla and smoke. In the mouth the wine is mild and smoothy with a light hint of dried grapes. The wine is very distinctive and unusual. It is strong and soft, full of tannins, dry with a slightly sweet finish.
Ideal wine for rare t-bone sreak or well matured cheeses.
To serve at 14 - 16° C.
